Blogs are the
main way students communicate in an online class. Blogs have vocabulary that is
unique. You are going to need to know these for our class blog. Make sure you
scroll through entire page (an ad in the middle is kind of tricky.)

- If you have not watched the
Brain
Flip Tour, check it out. Last week, we signed up for account. This video shows
you how to make a
deck of Brain Flip Cards. The site is
www.brainflips.com.
- Create a deck of 13 flash cards
over the blog vocabulary. Words include
avatar, blog, posts, comment, pages, cloud computing, personal learning
network, RSS, social bookmarking, social networking, tag, Web 2.0 and wiki.
- Study your cards and the
article. On Friday, we will have a timed quiz over the words.
- Also, you can use this
crossword
if you need more help.
- Raise your hand once you
have completed stack, so I can come check and give you your points.
4) Create a
Wordle Over Blog Vocabulary- 30 Minutes/20 Points

STEP-BY-STEP VIDEO TUTORIAL:

- To start go to NotePad and type in your 12
vocabulary words and definitions. (Just so if bell rings you don't lose your
work.)
- Go to
Wordle. Hit Create. Copy and paste the
words you typed into the NotePad in the 1st box and hit Go.
- Your Wordle will appear. You can change Color,
Layout...whatever you like.
- Print it and bring it to me with your name written
on it.
5) Study
Your BrainFlip Cards Over Blog Vocabulary For the Quiz
- Your quiz will be online, multiple choice and
timed.
