Completing the Excel Checklist
1) On the backside of your rubric, you need to use the checklist to double check your Excel spreadsheet. (Make sure to scroll down to #2)

In Excel- Your Excel portion of the grade will be determined by the following. Carefully, go through your Excel document and check each one of as you check your work. TAB- 1 Excel Spreadsheet__________ 4 statistical columns in the spreadsheet __________ 1 calculations column in the spreadsheetTAB 2- Stem & Leaf Plot __________ Correct data placement in stem and leaf plot __________ Commas separate numbers on leaf side __________ Key __________Title with correct caps & spelling. TAB 3- Box & Whisker Plot__________ Print Screen and Paste into Excel __________ Title with correct capitalization and spelling. (No abbreviations) TAB 4 and 5- Graphs__________ Have at least 2 graphs in Excel __________ Both need chart titles with correct capitalization and spelling. __________ Bar graphs need axis titles. Circle graphs need data labels. __________ Choose appropriate graphs. A line & circle graph can only be used for certain data.

2) Analyzing data is the main purpose of this class. The #1 mistake students make on this project is not being specific enough when analyzing the graphs, stem and leaf and box and whisker. When you answer the following use numbers/data and do not just repeat the titles.
For example: If you have a graph about budgets of movies, then tell about specific movies' budgets. Avatar was the highest on our graph with a budget of $31 billion. Slum Dog Millionaire was the lowest with $3 billion.
