You can complete #1-3 and 5 early, but #4 must be done during the week of Feb. 12-18. All parts due no later than midnight, Feb. 18.

2) Choice Board and a Class Wiki-  1-1.5 Hours/ 50 Points

Web 2.0 Tool: Variety

Essential Question: How can I effectively use Web 2.0 Tools?

Task/Purpose: You will choose 1 of the following activities per week to learn and apply various Web 2.0 tools.

YOU MUST CHOOSE A DIFFERENT PROJECT THAN THE ONE YOU COMPLETED DURING WEEK 5.

Ideas for Projects:

Last week you watched a video about Wikis and how you can use a wiki. Let's use a class wiki #1 to brainstorm ideas for projects using Web 2.0 tools. Add any ideas and you can also edit/add to others' ideas.

Submit:

On class wiki #2, let's brainstorm and create a list of how you could submit your Web 2.0 Tool assignment. I need something turned in that shows what you created with the Web 2.0 tool and a short reflection (STEP #3). I need to be able to see your project so I know that you have learned how to apply the Web 2.0 Tools and used them effectively. If you are not sure how to do this, add questions to the wiki, class blog or email me.

Choices/Requirements/Web2.0 Tools/Tutorials:

Below you will find a table that will give you project options, requirements and a tutorial to help you use the site you choose. If you need some extra assistance, please contact me.

3) Don't Forget.... Get me the project and Email me the purpose and reflection- 10 Minutes/10 Points

  1. Don't forget I need something to grade/assess. Get that to me somehow.
  2. Email me a short summary (WITH YOUR NAME ON IT) that:
    • 1st Tell me where to find/view the project
    • 2nd Give brief overview of how you used the Web 2.0 tool
    • 3rd Analyze the Web 2.0 and did it goes as planned.
    • 4th Your name
  3. Here is an example: I was able to download the project off Super Teacher Tool, so I submitted into our shared Dropbox folder and attached to this email. My goal was to create a game online using Super Teacher Tools that I could use with my daughter so she could learn to recognize animals. As I used the tool, I learned how simple it was to create this online versus using PowerPoint. The website had a few glitches as I worked, but nothing to prevent me from using it again in the future. I had made a game before so I knew finding the pictures for the animals would take the majority of my time.  Ann Zinyemba
  4. You can use the reflection you emailed me as 1 entry on the blog, so copy and paste it into the Question of the Week below.
